Het beste van twee werelden komt samen in de hybride motor. Daarmee wordt deze BMW XM aangedreven door zowel brandstof als door de elektrische accu, die al rijdend of remmend wordt bijgeladen. Zegt u nou zelf: niks is in de auto toch aantrekkelijker dan de geur van een lederen interieur? Tenzij u meer geniet van gemak. En daarvoor is de elektrisch bedienbare achterklep. Zit u goed? De stoelen zijn eenvoudig instelbaar dankzij de elektrische bediening met geheugen. Hoe koud het buiten ook is, het verwarmbare stuurwiel en de verwarmbare voorstoelen brengen uw handen, vingers en lichaam snel weer op temperatuur. In deze BMW profiteert u onder andere ook van: sportonderstel, LED-koplampen, adaptief dempingsysteem, extra getint glas, in delen neerklapbare achterbank en LED-achterlichten.

De slimme lay-out van het digitale dashboard zorgt voor een uitstekend overzicht onderweg. Met de hulp van vier camera's, biedt de 360 graden camera op deze auto een panoramisch zicht, wat bijzonder nuttig is bij het parkeren en manoeuvreren. Met adaptive cruise control houdt deze auto automatisch afstand tot uw voorligger. De auto is voorzien van een trekhaak en is een uitstekende caravantrekker. Het systeem van forward collision warning, of in gewoon Nederlands 'botswaarschuwing', treedt in werking als de sensor te weinig afstand signaleert met een voor- of tegenligger. Met voorzieningen als dodehoekdetectie, hill hold functie, brake assist, vermoeidheidsherkenning en bandenspanningcontrolesysteem, bent u altijd veilig onderweg.
